PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A Jupiter woman has been arrested by Palm Beach Gardens police on charges that she stole a Salvador Dali etching from the person who hired her to be a caregiver.

Investigators say that Kyla St Mary was hired on October 23rd to care for a man who was injured and unable to walk.

The man told police that on Tuesday November 5th he was looking for a piece of art work to be appraised and could not find it.

The missing figurine, according to a statement taken by police, is valued in the range of $7,200.

The man told police that he confronted St Mary about the figurine and she denied any knowledge.

The alleged victim also told police that his Don Quixote charcoal etching of a man on a horse by Salvador Dali worth $20,000 was also missing.

St Mary told investigators that she went to straighten the Dali etching and it fell cracking the glass.
