PALM BEACH GARDENTS, Fla. - As detectives continue to investigate the homicide of Palm Beach Gardens mother Kimberly Lindsey, friends continue to keep her memory alive.
A reward poster for information continues to stand outside the victim's property, but so does a handful of flower arrangements and notes that are addressed to the three daughters she leaves behind. Friends and neighbors dropped them off throughout the day Saturday. One neighbor said, "I just had to do something."
"Senseless, it just doesn't even make sense," said friend Laura Hanley.
"I hope that they get this person quickly and that the wheels of justice move so quick and so harsh," said Hanley.
Detectives said there was a violent confrontation inside Lindsey's home and that her body was moved to a rural field out west in Hendry County.
The brother of the victim said the family is in deep mourning right now and to remember Kimberly as a "wonderful woman, mother and sister."
The health clinic inside the middle school were she was a nurse will soon be named after her, in her honor.
