PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Dozens of people commemorated Yom Hashoah or "Holocaust Remembrance Day" Sunday morning at Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens.
"It's a day where we, it's a solemn day where we recall the names, people, and their lives, and vow never to forget," said Rabbi Michael Singer.
More than six million Jews, along with millions of other people, died during the Holocaust.
The event featured lectures, songs and the lighting of memorial candles.
Yom Hashoah ends tomorrow evening.
