Brian Reinhart heading to Scripps National Spelling Bee; 2nd time competing

Can you spell the word - Ontologism ?
Brian Reinhart can. That's the word he had to spell to win the Regional Spelling Bee 3 months ago.
"It was a back and forth between me and another person, and we kept getting them wrong, they were so hard," said Reinhart.
But Reinhart finally spelled it right. His prize? A trip to DC to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in two weeks.
"Its going to be a lot of fun, but pretty nerve wracking tough, so I'm just going to do the best that I can," said Reinhart.
But the DC spotlight is not unfamiliar territory for the 8th grade student. He actually competed at the Scripps National Spelling Bee last year.
"Yes, he's so good, he's spells better than I do," said Suzanne Otero.
Suzanne Otero is the head of the lower school at the Weiss School. She thinks Weinhart has what it takes to make it to the top ten this year.
"As much as he says it's surprising to him, whether he wins the math counts or spelling bee, it's no surprise to us, Brian has it going on," said Otero.
And with school winding down, Reinhart now has time to focus.  He reads his dictionary everyday, practicing and spelling out new words.
"The goal is to do as good as I can, and to study as hard as I can," said Reinhart.
