Steven Kisner, Bradley Hayes charged with stealing musical equipment from a church, police say

Police say gear was worth over $10,000

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two men have been arrested and charged with taking musical equipment from a North Palm Beach church.

North Palm Beach police say that on Monday around 1:30 a-m an officer patrolling the Osborne Park area spotted a vehicle with the interior lights on in the parking lot.

The policeman says that he spotted various pieces of musical equipment and instruments inside the vehicle.

The officer also found large box speakers left unattended in the parking lot next to the First Presbyterian Church on Prosperity Farms Road.

Investigators say that two men were spotted walking to the vehicle. They say the pair then tried to hide when they saw the police.

Police say that they were able to apprehend Steven Kisner and Bradley Hayes after they tried to flee.

A representative from the church was able to identify the items in the vehicle as being property from the music department of the First Presbyterian Church.

Police say the stolen items were worth between $10,000 and $20,000.

Both Hayes and Kisner are facing grand theft felony charges and were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
