PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Gia Sweeney always looks forward to the Honda Classic.
"I am here today because my husband loves golf, and he wanted his family to spend this day with him," said Sweeney.
While her husband had dashed off to the first tee Saturday, Sweeney was dropping off their son at the kids club.
"He's running around with the ball, he's had his hair colored, he's played with sand," said Sweeney.
As part of Family Fun Day, parents could take advantage of the "Kids Club" at the Honda Pavillion during the third round Saturday.
"We offer this daycare service, it's the only one on the PGA tour," said tournament director Kenneth Kennerly.
Kennerly said while parents are out watching the golf, while the kids could enjoy themselves with games and face painting.
Some in the under 12 set like Mia Shaker didn't mind being dropped off for the day either.
"I'm not a big fan of watching golf, so that's why I'm here," said Shaker.
