An accident between a power boat and a scull sent a juvenile to the hospital Friday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. in the waters near the Burt Winter Park boat ramp in North Palm Beach.
Officials say there were two juveniles on the racing scull, similar to a fancy kayak, and an adult male on the power boat when the two vessels collided.
The patient was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is expected to survive.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the crash.
