A worker became impaled on a section of reinforced steel bar at the Heights of Jupiter Thursday morning.
The accident happened at a construction site between two homes.
Firefighters cut the metal and the male patient was transported to an area trauma center, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
His condition was not released.
