Teenager nearly drowns at Dubois Park in Jupiter Sunday morning

Teen was transported to hospital for treatment

JUPITER, Fla. - A male teenager is being treated after being rescued in a near drowning in Jupiter Sunday morning.

The incident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. at Dubois Park, says Captain Albert Borroto, Public Information Officer for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

According to Borroto, the patient was only under water for a short time.  He was in the care of the lifeguards by the time paramedics arrived.

After evaluation, the teen was transported to Jupiter Medical Center for follow-up treatment, says Borroto.
