Suburban Jupiter man allegedly tried taking cellphone photo under woman's dress

JUPITER, Fla. - A suburban Jupiter man was arrested on Tuesday after he was accused of trying to take a picture underneath a woman's skirt at a department store in Lake Park.

Donald James Glowacki, 32, was released this morning on his own recognizance from the Palm Beach County Jail. He is facing charges of battery and video voyeurism.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's detectives began working the case Tuesday afternoon after they were dispatched to the Target at 500 N. Congress Ave. to reports of a lewd or lascivious act.

Detectives were told by a 35-year-old woman at the store that she was speaking with her child outside of the women's fitting room when she felt something touch the inside of her right thigh, according to the arrest report.

The woman, whose name was withheld in the report, said she quickly turned around and saw a man withdrawing his hand from underneath her skirt. She said she screamed at him, when she saw that he had a cellphone in his hand.

The woman said the man, who was later identified as Glowacki, began to walk away while "manipulating the cell phone," the report said. She called out to a manager and security guard, who confronted Glowacki.

When they said they were calling the authorities, Glowacki "appeared very frightened," said he couldn't wait because he had to go back to work and left the store.

Detectives were able to track down Glowacki through his employer, after they noticed on the store's surveillance that he was wearing his employer's shirt.
