JUPITER, Fla. - A "No Swimming" advisory continues at Dubois Park this weekend after additional routine tests showed poor bacteria levels in the water.
The area affected is the small lagoon located just off the Jupiter Inlet in the park. The ocean beach tested in the good range.
The first advisory was posted on February 25th after Health Department staff conducting routine water checks for enterococci at 13 area locations, including Dubois Park found unsafe levels of the bacteria.
Causes of the elevated level are unknown but are generally associated with wildlife or runoff following heavy rains.
The next sampling results will be available on Tuesday March 4th.
