Music is back at Harbourside Place, but it's not permanent yet.

On nights where live music blasts from the Harbourside Place amphitheater in Jupiter, people flock to the entertainment district to dine and dance.

"I like the music out here where you get to listen while you eat and you get to get the big place to dance," said Cameron Bertram, 8-years-old.

The music draws the crowds. It's what helped Carrie Bertram choose a location for her mother and son date night.

"We found the restaurant because of the music playing too. That is what drew us here," she said.

But Cameron was not happy to learn his new favorite spot may not keep live music if it can't come to an agreement with the town of Jupiter.

For the last week Harbourside Place and the town have been negotiating to find a solution to the ongoing noise level concerns brought up by neighbors across the Intracoastal waterway. Live music has returned through permits, but it's not permanent yet.

"That would be bad, wait even for Friday and Saturday? That would be terrible," said Cameron.

A lawsuit Harbourside Place filed against the town is in federal court. The spokesperson for Harbourside Place says negotiations are private and they can't release any details. They will continue to have live music on Fridays and Saturdays for now.
