Jupiter police looking for identity theft suspect responsible for $10,000 in credit card theft

JUPITER, Fla. - A search is underway by the Jupiter Police Department for the woman who may have made over $10,000 in purchases using fraudulent credit cards.

Police say the suspect enters commercial buildings, hospitals and other businesses to steal a wallet or a purse.

The woman, according to officers, used the stolen cards to buy electronics or clothing at stores including Apple, ATT, Target, Dillards, Sears, Radio Shack, HH Gregg and Best Buy .

The suspect also used the cards at gas stations from Palm Beach County to Miami, police say.
