JUPITER, Fla. - A "no swimming advisory" that was issued earlier this week for Jupiter's Dubois Park was lifted Friday.
The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County issued the advisory after bacterial levels in the water tested in the moderate range.
Samples at the park showed it to be in the moderate range, 60 colonies per 100 milliliters of marine water for enterococci, prompting the advisory to be lifted.
The department reminds persons swimming in marine waters to rinse off with fresh water when possible after swimming.
Health department staff said they sample the beach waters at 13 locations from Boca Raton to Jupiter for enterococci.
