JUPITER, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner has initially determined that a Palm Beach Gardens woman, whose body was found in Mallory Creek lake in Abacoa Tuesday, died as a result of drowning.
The vehicle and body of Chanel Farrell Phillips were found after a report to police of tire tracks leading into the lake.
Phillips was last seen leaving a popular bar at Downtown at the Gardens Saturday.
Jupiter police say toxicology results are not yet available and may take several weeks and that there are no signs of foul play.
