Armed robbery at pet store in Jupiter

JUPITER, Fla. - Jupiter police are investigating an armed robbery at a pet store in the 6700 block of West Indiantown Road, said Officer Adam Brown, spokesman for city police.

The robbery happened around 3:50 p.m. at Pet Supermarket, 6755 West Indiantown Road, Brown said.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet tall. He was wearing dark clothing and a black ski-style cap pulled down over his face, Brown said.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
