4-year-old boy nearly drowns at Dubois Park in Jupiter

JUPITER, Fla. - A 4-year-old  was taken to Jupiter Medical Center for follow-up treatment after nearly drowning at Dubois Park, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

When crews arrived, the 4-year-old child was awake, out of the water, and in the care of life guards, said Borroto.

The near drowning took place around 4:48 p.m. in the 19000 block of Dubois Road, and reports stated that the child may have swallowed a large amount of water, Borroto said.


The name of the 4-year-old-boy has not been released and additional information is not available at this time.
