JUPITER, Fla. - Four people were injured and two were taken to Jupiter Medical Center after sustaining injuries in a boating accident, said Captain Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue .
Rescue crews arrived at the Jupiter Sandbar just before 2:30 p.m. Initial reports say that a vessel with multiple people on board struck the sandbar, said Borroto.
The Marine unit found six people on the vessel and they all denied having any injuries. A private boater transported four boaters from the sandbar to a private dock where medical crews evaluated them. Two of the transported patients refused medical attention, Borroto said.
