"To know that at any moment in time you have people watching you, waiting for you to leave a car unlocked," said Vasquez. "It feels very violating, I felt very violated."
She left her car unlocked and the next morning found her husband's gun was missing from the center console, a bag she had in the car was also missing.
"It's very scary. It’s very scary and I've been here for over 4 years and never had an issue," she said.
Vasquez sounded off about the theft on her neighborhood's Nextdoor home page.
"We found out other people we’re having the same problem," said Vasquez.
The responses on the app are leading her to believe Juno Isles is being targeted.
"We’ve had a couple of reports of break-ins of homes, several reports of cars and the only reason we know this cause we’re doing our own internal communication," said Vasquez.
We've requested information from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Vasquez says she and her neighbors are working together to make their neighborhood safe again.
"Now we're having to spend all kinds of money to add surveillance and do other things to try to attempt to keep ourselves safe," she said.
Vasquez and her neighbors are asking anyone in the Juno Isles community who has a video surveillance system to check their overnight recordings.
They are urged to report any suspicious persons or activity to PBSO.
