Saturday was the last day to cast your ballot in two of our areas counties.
Polling locations closed this Saturday afternoon both in Martin and Indian River County.
As of this morning, more than 55,000 people have voted early in Martin County. Similar numbers in Indian River County at more than 50,000.
Statewide, more than 5.3 million people have voted early.
Several people waiting until the last minute to early vote say they were glad to get their vote in before Election Day.
"I'm glad that I waited though because so many states people went out and early voted and I'm sure there's a lot of remorse they wanted to go back and change their vote," says Ed Lindoo of Stuart.
The last day for Early Voting in Palm Beach and St. Lucie County is tomorrow.
