Worried about identity theft? The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is offering protection.
It is planning a shred event Saturday July 30.
Residents will able to drop off up to three bank boxes of unwanted documents to shred for free.
Each additional box will cost $10. Proceeds will be used for the Sheriff’s Office DARE Program.
The event will take place at the Martin County Sheriff's Office which is located at 800 SE Monterey Road in Stuart.
