Stuart police asking for help in identifying man who robbed Circle K store Monday

STUART — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Circle K convenience store at knife point at about 6:15 p.m. Monday.

The man showed the clerk the knife and demanded the cash in the register, according to a statement from police. As the clerk attempted to comply, the man became impatient, walked to the register, grabbed the money and left.

He is described as white, thin and 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a light white or gray hooded sweatshirt, a blue ball cap, dark cargo pants and white sneakers.
