STUART, Fla. - A photo taken Sunday in the waters off Stuart is getting a lot of attention.
That's because the photo features superstar athlete Michael Jordan, sporting a cigar in his mouth and hoisting a fish with Flatlined Charters Capt. George Gozdz.
In the photo, the pair are holding a Spanish mackerel.
But Jordan is no stranger to the Treasure Coast.
The basketball star is a member at The Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, joining the likes of Peyton Manning and Dan Marino.
He also owns a multi-million dollar estate in The Bears Club in Jupiter.
Gozdz has a 2014 24-foot Triton LTS bay boat powered by a 2014 Mercury 300 hp motor. He is a "Pro Staffer" for Pure Fishing, and he is on the "Pro Staff" for YoZuri Lures. He is based in Jensen Beach.
Gozdz works mainly the Indian River Lagoon and St. Lucie River with his clients.
Jordan isn't the first high-profile client for Gozdz. In May 2011, television personality Byron Velvick, best known for his stint on season six of ABC's "The Bachelor," went fishing with Gozdz while in the water near the Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart.
