Linsey Hutchinson, Christopher Quigley: Couple arrested for theft of $9,000 worth of appliances

STUART, Fla. - Stuart police arrested a man and a woman on theft charges after property managers at the Astorwood Apartments reported that $9,000 worth of refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and air conditioning units had been stolen by the pair.

The investigation began on Feb. 28 when police received a report about several new items being stolen from unoccupied units at the apartment complex in the 1220 block of Astorwood Place.

After a lengthy investigation, police were able to track down two suspects identified as Linsey Hutchinson and Christopher Quigley, both of Stuart.

Police say both Hutchinson and Quigley confessed to stealing the appliances. They were transported to the Martin County Jail.

Police say that the investigation continued and more arrests are possible.
