STUART, Fla. - There will be "Dancin' In The Streets" tonight in Stuart, but this time in a new location.
For the first time, the fun is taking place at Memorial Park off East Ocean Boulevard. It's also the first time the festival will stretch over two days.
"And there's good shade at the park which is something we didn't have downtown and it allows for a little better breeze because of an open area. We'll have tons of water to hydrate everyone and shade to get out of the sun,” said festival organizer Bill Moore.
Eight to ten thousand people are expected to attend.
The event runs from 5 p.m. until midnight and then from noon until midnight tomorrow.
Tickets are $16, children12 and under are free.
Proceeds benefit the Stuart Main Street downtown programs.
