STUART, Fla. -- A local organization joined together on Saturday to stop the Lake Okeechobee discharges.

"Citizens for Clean Water" posted a photo on their Facebook page of their group gathering on Stuart Beach.

The photo is an attempt to educate the public about Senate bill 10, by spelling out "SB10" in the sand.

The bill includes the purchase of land needed to decrease Lake Okeechobee discharges.
