We have new information on that destructive fire earlier this week at Nobile shoes in Stuart.
The City of Stuart estimates the damage at around $1 million.
Fire officials are doing what they can to keep folks away from the site because of the threat of a building collapse.
In the last 24 hours they have put up a fence to keep everyone out the building and preserve the scene.
With that step now complete, the Fire Marshal says he will get inside the building to begin their investigation as soon as possible and find out exactly what caused the fire.
In a statement, the city says it recognizes the community impact on a business with such a longstanding history in the city.
This business has been apart of Stuart for almost 30 years.
