JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff's Office arrested two men on charges of grand theft after they were found operating a stolen boat Tuesday.
Deputies responded to the Snook Nook Bait and Tackle store in reference to a stolen boat early Tuesday morning. Later that afternoon, Detective Joe Collazo received word that the stolen boat was spotted in the mangroves near the Veteran's Memorial Bridge.
Marine Unit Deputy John Howell responded out to the area and stopped the boat with suspects Nicholas Nereau and Joshua Munson on board. Both Nereau and Munson were arrested without incident. Both men's bonds were set at $10,000.
