Martin County Sheriff's Office seek public's help in identifying victim by his tattoo

The Martin County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a male victim whose remains were found in a wooded area of Hobe Sound on Friday.

The photo above features one of the victim's tattoos, which is located above his left knee.

Because of decomposition of the victim's body, his skin is discolored and patchy, so MCSO provided a black and white version of the tattoo to show its detail better.

Investigators believe the victim could possibly work in the field of roofing or asphalt, and he may not necessarily be local.

There is a possibility he could be from a different country, or a different state.

If you have any information, please contact Detective John Bowdoin at 772-220-7169.
