MARTIN COUNTY -- Officials continue investigating a suspicious package that was sent to the county jail Monday morning.
Just before 11 a.m. an employee in the mailroom opened the package that contained a white powder wrapped in Cellophane.
That section of the jail was quarantined and a HazMat team was called.
They just finished their first round of tests and the results came back inconclusive, according the Martin County Sheriff' William Snyder.
A second round of tests has been ordered.
Two people have been quarantined as a precaution. They have not had any adverse reaction to the exposure.
