STUART, Fla. - Martin County mosquito control workers are expected to do aerial spraying on Thursday.
Crews sprayed Wednesday night and are expected to start on Thursday around 8:30 p.m.
The Martin County Mosquito Control Board says it is spraying to kill the bugs that can carry diseases like dengue fever and West Nile Virus.
The majority of the spraying will happen in communities west of Interstate 95.
The chemicals that are being sprayed are not considered dangerous to humans.
The Control Board says people who wish to not be exposed should stay indoors if they live in a community being sprayed.
