A judge has sentenced a Jensen Beach man to 30 years in prison for sexually exploiting a child and producing child pornography.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were alerted to 54-year-old Eric Gauthier last year, after receiving a complaint from a 15-year-old.
Investigators eventually found illegal images on a personal computer at a warehouse owned by Gauthier, according to a news release from the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
Once he serves his term Gauthier will be placed on supervised release for the remainder of his life and must register as a sex offender, the release said.
