JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - A family of three is being assisted Thursday evening by the Red Cross after a fire damaged their home in Jensen Beach.
Martin County firefighters responded around 7 p.m. to reports of a blaze at a home in the 2100 block of N.E. 21 st Terrace, said Deputy Chief Dan Wouters, spokesman for fire rescue.
No one was injured in the fire, but a child and two adults were left temporarily homeless. They are being assisted by the Red Cross with housing, food and clothing, said D. Robin Barker, spokeswoman for the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Wouters said.
