A Hobe Sound mother has been missing for just over a week now. Volunteers say they are stepping up their efforts this weekend to find her.

"I couldn't imaging being without my child on Mother's Day," says Teresa Parr of Port St. Lucie.

Parr is a mother like Tricia Todd, which is why she's out searching into the night before the start of Mother's Day weekend.

"I'll keep coming out until she's brought home."

This is her fourth time out here searching. Friday evening she's checking off part of Jimmy Graham Park and still no signs of Todd.

Back at headquarters, Heather Holden with DEEMI Search and Rescue calculates all ground covered.

"700 to 750 foot miles."

Now begins her weekend plan, which includes more challenging areas like Jimmy Graham and Peck Lake Park in Hobe Sound. The search begins bright and early tomorrow.

Peace River K-9 Search and Rescue based out of Englewood, Florida is bringing in three teams of Cadaver Dogs just for this weekeend.

Holden says more help is needed.

"We are ramping up our search efforts this weekend now more than ever as we need our volunteers," says Holden.

Apart from the volunteer search, deputies will be out for any tips on anything related to Todd's whereabouts.
