VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Bringing law enforcement and the community together was the message behind a rally in Indian River County on Saturday.
A benefit was held in honor of fallen Indian River County Sheriff's Deputy Garry Chambliss.
He was shot and killed while off-duty in Gifford in February.
Those who knew him say this event honored his life and will help build a stronger community.
The money raised will be given to the Chambliss family.
