Three juveniles were hospitalized after a balcony collapsed at a high school graduation party in Vero Beach early Saturday morning, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Eric Flowers.

The incident happened at a house in the 900 block of 58th Avenue where the graduation was happening.

According to Flowers, between 10 and 20 juveniles were on the balcony when it collapsed.

Three patients were transported to Indian River Medical Center by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The remaining juveniles were treated on scene and released to their parents.

Flowers said the homeowner was given a notice to appear in court for the charge of open house party.
