INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on County Road 512 near 104th Avenue.
The crash occurred at 9:05 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of County Road 512.
FHP says the vehicle was traveling eastbound, struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene.
The vehicle has been recovered, according to FHP. It is unknown if the driver has been located at this time.
