Michael Fedick charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, deputies say

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. - Two men in Indian River County face drug charges after a raid Tuesday evening.

Deputies, assisted by Sebastian police, Vero Beach police and the United States Postal Service, say they served search warrants at 110 12th Street Southeast and 1590 20th Avenue Southwest.

They say they found more than fifteen pounds of marijuana and more than $3,000.

Detectives arrested Michael Fedick and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of more than twenty grams of marijuana.

They also took Clifton Garrison into custody and charged him with possession of less than twenty grams of marijuana.

The sheriff's office says it believes Fedick was receiving more than two hundred pounds of marijuana per month from California through the mail and say it was packaged with other items such as children's books and crossword puzzles.

More arrests are expected, the sheriff's office said.
