Crews contain wildfires in Sebastian, Jupiter on Sunday

SEBASTIAN, Fla. - Indian River County Fire Rescue and the Florida Forest Service continue to watch hotspots at Sebastian Preserve State Park.

Crews were called out to a 30-acre wildfire Sunday night about two miles east of Interstate 95. Bulldozers are still circling the fire trying to keep it from spreading.

Second fire

In Jupiter, forestry crews on Monday will be back at the scene of a separate wildfire.  A 10-acre brush fire occurred Sunday afternoon near Beeline Highway and Pratt Whitney Road.

Fire crews said it was contained by 11 p.m., but there could still be some smoky conditions.
