The Sebastian River High School teacher nearly fired for allegedly pushing and taunting a disruptive student, will return to class.
The Indian River County School Board followed a judge's recommendation to exonerate and reinstate Joseph Nathaniel, known as "Coach Joe" to his students.
The district took him out of the classroom after a fight in November of 2015. Cellphone video recorded a confrontation between Nathaniel and a student.
"Coach Joe" was relieved with the unanimous decision. He could return to school as soon as next Wednesday.
