WPTV presenting experts to answer viewers' calls on preparing students with autism for school

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla - With the school year set to begin next week, students and parents are making the transition from summer vacation to the start of school. It can be difficult for many students, but for those on the autism spectrum it can be harder.

To help parents and students, WPTV is presenting a phone bank Wednesday evening August 13 with experts to answer viewers calls about making a smooth transition for those on the spectrum. It's part of the Impact 5 Autism: Connecting the Pieces coverage.

The experts will be answering calls from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  The toll free number to talk to the experts is: 1-800-345-WPTV.
