A woman is hospitalized after she was spotted swimming in the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach.
She was discovered around 11 a.m. Thursday along Flagler Drive, south of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
Several people who were walking near the seawall saw her and called police.
When West Palm Beach Fire Rescue arrived, first responders were able to talk to the woman and convince her to get out of the water.
A marine unit was also in the area as a precaution.
She did not seem to be injured but was taken to an area hospital for observation.
