PORT ST. LUCIE
Freedomfest 2014, outside Civic Center at Martin Health System Village Square, 2 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Celebration begins at 2 p.m. with live bands, food and refreshments, games and activities for kids and families, arts and crafts vendors and much more. A family-friendly celebration in Port St. Lucie for more than 20 years, Freedomfest will consist of a full day of food, fun and good old-fashioned Independence Day spirit for everyone. Best of all, admission and parking are free.

WEST PALM BEACH
4th on Flagler, Waterfront Commons in downtown West Palm Beach
5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

4th on Flagler, the free Independence Day celebration in West Palm Beach, is home to the largest fireworks display in South Florida. This year’s theme, “Together We CREATE America” embraces the City of West Palm Beach’s Downtown arts, culture and entertainment district.

Event highlights:
Performances by national recording artists The Lost Trailers and Ryan Star, the 16-minute fireworks display, a military salute, the unfurling of the giant American flag, kid’s activity area & more!

Star Spangled Spectacular
Starts at 1 p.m.
Celebrate the 4th of July by declaring Independence Day with the Village of Royal Palm Beach’s annual Star Spangled Spectacular at Royal Palm Beach’s Commons Park. The Zambelli Fireworks International Show begins at 9:00 PM and is a Fireworks Show not to miss. Come early, as the festivities begin at 1:00 PM.

Live entertainment performing on the Royal Palm Auto Mall Stage will feature Tribute Bands by “Keep the Faith” Bon Jovi Tribute Band beginning at 7:30 PM, and “The Boss Project” Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band at 5:30 PM. The ever popular Food Truck Invasion will be on hand with over 20 Gourmet Food Trucks who will appeal to anyone’s palate. Great shopping will be at a premium, featuring Art and Craft Vendors displaying local, hand crafted masterpieces. A variety of live music, an interactive DJ, and West Palm Beach’s own “Making Faces Band” performing live at 3:30 PM.

Royal Palm Beach Annual Firecracker Golf Tournament
Madison Green Golf Club, Royal Palm Beach, 8 a.m.

Join the annual Firecracker Golf Tournament on Friday, July 4 at Madison Green Golf Club. The scramble format tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00am. Included: cart and green fees, 50/50 raffle, prizes, longest drive contest, closest to the pin contest, and a BBQ lunch will be provided. Downtown Lake Worth, all day long

BOYNTON BEACH
The City is celebrating the 4th of July Boynton Beach style – along its waterfront at Intracoastal Park, 2240 North Federal Highway.

Beginning at 6 p.m., on Friday, there will be activities for children, live music and food and beverages.  A 20-minute musically-choreographed fireworks display, by Zambelli Fireworks, will electrify the sky at 9:00 p.m., followed by live music.

Free park-and-ride shuttles will be available, 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at City Hall, 100 E. Boynton Beach Boulevard and Boynton Beach High School, 4975 Park Ridge Blvd. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. No pets or personal fireworks will be permitted.

4th of July Fun with the Schoolhouse Children's Museum & Learning Center
6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

4th of July Celebration with the Schoolhouse Children's Museum & Learning Center will include: front row seats at the City of Boynton Beach’s fireworks display, a BBQ dinner, beverage, live music outdoors, activities, option to stay in A/C and loads of summer fun. Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation and The West Boca Community Council Presents: The Seventh Annual July 4th Celebration. Replay kicks off the night performing a variety of dance hits that will have you up on your feet. Following the concert is a musical fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks. The Kids Fun Zone will feature tons of games, a tattoo parlor, and more! Several food trucks will be on site. Gates open at 5:30 PM. Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted. Free admission
