A father and daughter who helped find a missing 9-year-old boy in West Palm Beach on Monday are calling it divine intervention.
Phillip Dukes and his daughter, Oluwayemici, were on their way to their Riviera Beach home from the Palm Beach Outlets.
That's when they found the child, Tyleak Hightower, walking alone along Congress Avenue. They said he looked lost so they took him to his day care.
"I think God just put us in the right place for us to help this little boy at the time. He needed help because anything could have happened to him had we not found him," said Oluwayemici Dukes.
The Dukes said once the boy was safe they made sure that day care employees called his parents.
