WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two patients were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries in a rollover accident in West Palm Beach, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Persimmon Boulevard and Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Borroto said. Upon arrival, rescue crews found an accident occurred between a pick-up truck and a car, in which the truck rolled over. There was moderate damage to both vehicles, said Borroto.
Rescue crews found the driver of the car trapped inside the vehicle and used the ‘Jaws of Life' to cut her out, Borroto said.
