Police have identified the two people who died in a weekend fire at a West Palm Beach religious goods store.

"Really unbelievable," said Sasha Valdez, the manager of Yoki Beauty Salon next door. "I just heard people talking about the lady that ran out in fire."

The victims have been identified as 36-year-old Maria M. Bonny and 31-year-old Roselynne Lindor-Sanon.

Another neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, described Maria as friendly and quiet.

"She's very nice," said the woman, who works next door. "She's very nice. All the time she's coming, [smiling] say hi."

The fire happened Saturday around 1 p.m. at the St. Anne & Vierge Miracle Botanica in the 900 block of Belvedere Rd.

One of the women died at the scene, the other, who had severe burns, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

A bomb and arson unit remained on the scene well into Saturday night.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
