Family and friends came together last night to remember Tinoris Williams.
The vigil was held in the same area along Orleans court in suburban West Palm Beach where Williams was shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy Monday.
A deputy was called to the area for a burglary call.
The sheriff's office says Williams tried to grab the deputy's gun, the two scuffled, and Williams was shot.
"I [sic] been suffering since Monday, you can’t find a word for it, you just can’t find a word for it," said his father, Timothy Williams.
Williams' mother says he was suffering from mental health issues.
The deputy who shot Williams is on paid leave, which is standard procedure.
