SUV pulled over after high-speed chase in West Palm Beach

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A high-speed chase that began early Friday morning in West Palm Beach has ended in arrests.

West Palm Beach police say some of its officers were working a special detail in the Pleasant City neighborhood when they heard gunshots. They discovered people in two vehicles shooting at each other.

An SUV took off and police pursued it.

They used stop sticks to stop the vehicle about two miles north of the Indiantown Road exit on I-95.

Police say the people in the SUV were arrested.

No one was hurt.

Jupiter police, the Florida Highway Patrol and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted the West Palm Beach Police Department.
