St. Patrick's Day fun in downtown West Palm Beach: Bars celebrate with block parties

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Parts of Clematis Street in West Palm Beach will close Monday morning as bars are hosting St. Patrick's Day block parties.

At 9 a.m., Irish bar Roxy's is blocking off the 300 block of Clematis Street for its block part. Roxy's plans to have a large tent in case of rain.

Other bars hosting special St. Patrick's Day festivities include O'Shea's Irish Pub on the 500 block of Clematis Street.

AAA is offering its "Tow to Go" program for St. Patrick's Day to prevent drinking and driving.

Tow truck drivers will give people a confidential tow ride home within a 10-mile radius.

It is valid for both AAA and non-AAA members.

The tow truck driver will take up to two people home with the vehicle.

AAA says the program is designed to be a last resort for people who have been drinking and say you can't make an appointment for their tow truck driver to pick you up.

If you need Tow to Go call (855) 286-9245.
