South End residents to discuss crime concerns with West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Residents of the South End of West Palm Beach will bring their concerns to Mayor Jeri Muoio on Thursday night.

The South End Neighborhood Association is having a meeting with the Mayor at The Palm Beach Zoo at 6:30 p.m.

Crime is expected to be a major topic.

Tuesday morning police say someone shot and killed a man suspected of breaking into their car on Arlington Street. A second burglar is still on the run right now, according to officers.

Thursday's meeting was already scheduled before Tuesday's shooting.

Neighborhood association meetings are held once a week at a different location and usually months in advance.
